Launched in September 20, 2013, the iPhone 5c was part of the iPhone series by Apple, Inc. While the iPhone 5 has the aluminum casing, its successor boasts of a hard-coated polycarbonate casing. iPhone 5c also had the standard black glass front. Another notable difference between the two is the colors that are available. Consumers were only given two choices with the iPhone 5: black or white. The iPhone 5c was released in five colors: white, yellow, pink, green and blue. Although both models have the same processor, there is better connectivity with the iPhone 5c. Other iPhone 5 features not included in the 5c are the Touch ID fingerprint scanner and the 64-bit A7 SoC with the M7 motion co-processor.
