As an iPhone user you want to maximize the use of this high quality phone in more possible ways than simply relying on basic knowledge—of course without ever having to read the entire manual (besides, how many of us actually read all the manual’s pages, right?). You want to be quick. You want more choices for those smileys. You also want music streaming that is free from ads. You want to protect your eyes from strain. You’ve come to the right page. Here are four tips for anyone to try to enhance their iPhone user experience.
More Emoticon Icons
Emoticons and smileys are fun. This is not just for the teenagers. How easy it is for anyone to show how they are really feeling at the moment just by sending a keyboard symbol that represents various emotions– from joy, laughter, and ecstasy to sadness, anger and hate. Let your iPhone emoticon keyboard do the job for you. Go to Settings> then General – Keyboards -> Keyboards, and in this section you will have to select Add New Keyboard. From there scroll down until you see Japanese within the long list of languages. Tap that and select Romaji. The keyboard is then enabled. Test it out by opening up Notes. Tap and hold the globe icon and select Romaji again. Tap the 123 button on the keyboard followed by the icon that looks like a smiley face (^_^). When you tap that you will now see emoticons appearing on a list. For more options, tap the arrow up key on that list. That’s easy breezy, right? Now try it.
Adjust Home Button Speed
When we have busy schedules we can’t help but wish everything is done in a blink of an eye. One tip that’s actually intended for those with motor disability is now maximized by common folks. Adjusting the click speed of the Home button is easy. Grab the opportunity to go to the Accessibility settings without the stress. Launch the native Settings app on the iPhone. Then, navigate to the Settings’ General option. Choose Accessibility from the options. The Home button speed will now be set to Default. After which, you are to select your preferred option: Default, Slow, and Slowest. A pulse vibration and a visual alert are triggered after you make your selection. Now you’re all set!
Ad-Free YouTube Audio Streaming
Watching you’re your favorite band’s music videos can be annoying with those ads that suddenly pop up on your screen. Sometimes, you just want to listen to their music before you doze off. For that reason you should have the Vox app on your iPhone. The app supports all popular formats so that it becomes your all-in-one music player where you can either play your music stream through SoundCloud and YouTube or in an offline mode.
Mastering “Night Shift” Use
Getting a full night sleep is one of the most important things a busy person should practice in order to get the energy they need every day, especially in the mornings. We know very well how it feels in the office or on the road when you don’t have enough sleep, approximately six to nine hours a day. In the latest iOS 9.3 update, one feature can aid you in your desire to consistently a good sleep at night. Night Shift mode is easy to set up and use. To turn this on, go to Settings and tap Display and Brightness. Then, tap Night Shift. You can now adjust your Night Shift settings according to which hours of the day you want the feature to keep functioning. You may also go to the Control Center and tap on the sun icon to turn on Night Shift. Sad news is only those with the latest iOS 9.3 update can enjoy this feature.
